The Minnesota Vikings head into the 2nd half of the season in second place in the NFC North behind the 4-3 Chicago Bears. We can thank the Green Bay Packers and that disappointing tie and the Bills, Rams, Saints losses for this standing and 4-3-1 record. The Chicago Bears have already had their bye week. The Vikings will have their bye week November 11th.
A good portion of the remaining games are divisional rivals, with a good portion of the other games extremely tough match-ups.
Detroit Lions at US Bank Stadium – November 4 (Noon)
Bye Week – November 11
Chicago Bears at Soldier Field – November 18 (Noon)
Green Bay Packers at US Bank Stadium – November 25 (7:20 pm)
New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium – December 2 (3:25 pm)
Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field – December 10 (7:15 pm)
Miami Dolphins at US Bank Stadium – December 16 (Noon)
Detroit Lions at Ford Field – December 23 (Noon)
Chicago Bears at US Bank Stadium – December 30 (Noon)
Last week’s 30-20 loss to New Orleans is not what we expected and by no means what we wanted from our Purple and Gold. We are all too familiar with the phrase, “Turnovers will cost you the ball game”. And, they most certainly did. That being said, Coach Mike Zimmer still feels the Vikings are a good team going into the 2nd half of the season. The odds makers and experts are mostly picking the Vikings over the Detroit Lions this Sunday at US Bank Stadium. Enjoy this week’s video with special guest, Minnesota Vikings Head Coach, Mike Zimmer and his game plan.
We had Noelle film her pick this week also:
Purple And Gold Predictions:
Noelle: 4-3-1 – Going with the Vikes while on assignment, cheers! – Vikings by 3
Coach Zimmer: – I normally don’t do this, but Vikes by 10
Michele: I think the Vikings will be ALL over Matt Stafford and the Detoilet Lions – Vikes by 14
