Week 5 NFL Twisted Sisters Purple And Gold Predictions

The Minnesota Vikings travel to Philadelphia this Sunday for revenge and a shot at redemption. This is the first time the Vikings and the Eagles have faced off since last seasons’ NFC Championship game in which the Vikings lost 38-7. Ouch!

The Vikings defense needs to step up their game and keep the Eagles out of the end-zone. Seems logical. But, it’s been a struggle as we enter week five of the NFL season. The Vikings defense is currently in the bottom half of the NFL in terms of yards given up and has allowed 27.5 points per game so far this season.

The offense has shown much better stats.  Kirk Cousins is third in passing yards in the NFL and tied for sixth in touchdowns through the air. Adam Thielen ranks second in receiving and Stefon Diggs is fourth in the NFL in touchdowns.

The Eagles defense on the other hand is number one against the run game in the NFL. So, we will likely see a lot of passing come Sunday, which is probably good since Dalvin Cook is still a little banged up.[0]=68.ARDPQVV-0NzsVCOdaI7rx25f1_Dq8v5Ful43k-fK5uNTf2dEgMEeWY6Ksg467L9A39e-If47t3AtS2mu8T1Hc2Z9YVjGJjld2iB0FvU4ZQIgGDxU3iZvgMC-q44QuljqMxHTv1Q8k94aoul-IrkcSmNwan6wZUDtqWSSyAxvmiH8cV9avAG_&__tn__=-R
