Pequot Lakes School District invites the public to a Veteran’s Day Assembly the morning of Fri. Nov. 10th at 9:00 in the PLHS Athletic Center (on the south end of the school).  The event will honor our veterans during this one-hour assembly.  If you have questions, contact the Pequot Lakes High School office.

The Brainerd Veteran’s Day program will be Friday the 10th at 10am in the Brainerd High School Gymnasium.  The guest speaker will be Little Falls native Charles ‘Chip’ Rangen- combat veteran, Commander of the 1st Armored Combat Brigade, 34th infantry division, Minnesota National Guard.  Veterans in attendance will be recognized. Plus, quilts of honor awarded.

The Brainerd American Legion will host a Veterans Day Picnic for veterans on Sat. Nov. 11th from 11:00-1:00.  Veterans (must show Military I.D.) will enjoy FREE broasted chicken and salad bar.  If you show your Legion Membership Card, enjoy 1 free domestic tap beer from 12:00-5:00.
