USPS Suspends Mail Service To Honor 41st President George H.W. Bush

President Donald Trump announced that Wednesday, December 5th will be a National Day Of Mourning for former President George H. W. Bush. Adhering to the presidential proclamation, the United States Postal Service will suspend deliveries and other services tomorrow. USPS will provide limited package delivery on Wednesday, and there should be no negative impact to package delivery services during the rest of the holiday season.

Trump commented that the American people should pay homage to the memory of the 41st Commander In Chief for his vast contributions to the United States during his lifetime. President Bush is often referred to as the most successful one-term president. He is remembered as a Navy pilot and hero in WWII, a humble leader, gentle soul, great man, having wacky socks, and for being a model of what a public servant should be.
