The New Movie Releases In Brainerd For The Weekend Of September 28th-September 30th

Here are the new movies coming to Brainerd this weekend.
Hell Fest

IMDb Synopsis: A masked serial killer turns a horror themed amusement park into his own personal playground, terrorizing a group of friends while the rest of the patrons believe that it is all part of the show.

Rating: R

Run Time: 1h 29min

As a guy who doesn’t enjoy scary movies, even this trailer intrigued me. Imagine telling everyone about the killer in a horror amusement park? Everyone would just think “yeah obviously”. Still won’t be seeing it. #TeamNoScaryMovies

Nigh School

IMDb synopsis: A group of troublemakers are forced to attend night school in hope that they’ll pass the GED exam to finish high school.

Rating: PG13

Run Time: 1h 51min

I can see how some people will be excited about this one. Kevin Hart is a money printing machine when it comes to the box office. Tiffany Haddish is a rising star in Hollywood after being the best part of Girls Trip. Rotten Tomatoes has this currently at a 27%.

Small Foot

IMDb synopsis: A yeti named Migo is convinced that a human known only as “Small Foot” is real and has to prove to his tribe that it does exist with the help of Meechee and the S.E.S – Smallfoot Evidentiary Society.

Rating: PG

Run Time: 1hr 36 mins

This is one of those times I wish I had a nephew I could borrow for two hours so I could go to this kind of movie and it not look weird. The reverse idea of a bunch of yetis talking about the mythological creatures called “Small Foots” is pretty funny. I can see this being a sneaky good movie at the box office. It currently has a 73% at the box office.
