The City of Brainerd is declaring a snow emergency starting on Friday, December 28th.

Some of the things included:
Snow plowing will commence at 7:00 AM on Thursday, December 27, 2018 on the following streets:
• All Snow Emergency Routes*
• All north–south streets or streets that generally run north-south*
*Note: Parking restrictions will not be in place until December 28, 2018.
On Friday, December 28, 2018, snow plowing will commence at 5:00 AM. on the following streets:
• All Snow Emergency Routes
• All north–south streets or streets that generally run north-south
• All streets west of the Mississippi River
• All Streets south of Wright Street
On Saturday, December 29, 2018, snow plowing will commence at 7:00 AM. on the following streets:
• Clean-up all east-west streets or streets that generally run east-west
City staff will plow the entire City on Friday, December 28, 2018, with clean-up on east-west streets on commencing on Saturday. December 29, 2018.
Cars that have to be plowed around will be issued a $25.00 fine and will be towed if not moved within 48 hours of being plowed around.
