Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament and touring guitarist Josh Klinghoffer have composed the music for the new Hulu series Under the Banner of Heaven.

The true crime drama, which stars Andrew Garfield, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sam Worthington, is based on the 2003 Jon Krakauer book of the same name.

“Jon Krakauer’s book & [show creator Dustin] Lance Black‘s personal vision & leadership made this one of the most gratifying projects I’ve ever worked on,” Ament says in a post on Twitter. “Truly epic.”

Ament and Klinghoffer created the show’s score alongside Pearl Jam’s Gigaton producer Josh Evans and Fitz and the Tantrums drummer John Wicks.

The first two episodes of Under the Banner of Heaven are streaming now on Hulu.

Pearl Jam, meanwhile, is gearing up to finally launch its U.S. tour. The outing, which has been delayed for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, kicks off next Tuesday, May 3, in San Diego.
