Minnesota Vikings Team Up With Caribou Coffee For New ‘Vikings Blend’

It was announced this week that the Minnesota Vikings and Caribou Coffee have teamed up for a limited new coffee called ‘Vikings Blend’.

Caribou Coffee, who announced the new blend this past Tuesday, are also the official coffee of the Minnesota Vikings. Now you’ll be able to start your Sundays with some Vikings Blend and then watch Kirk Cousins torch the Packers for 400 yards.

Caribou Coffee, which is a Minnesota founded company, said the blend will be available in most Minnesota grocery stores and the popular ‘K-Cups’ will be available in September. Caribou also announced that 10 percent of Vikings Blend proceeds will be donated to the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital.

The Children’s Hospital Physician-in-Chief Joseph Negila, MD, MPH was quoted as saying,

“University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital is grateful for this new partnership with Caribou, a brand synonymous with Minnesota. We have had a long-standing relationship with the Minnesota Vikings and are thrilled to team up on Vikings Blend to make a lasting impact for patients and their families at our hospital.”

For someone that doesn’t drink a ton of coffee, I might have to start snagging some with this new blend and knowing that some of the proceeds are going to a great cause.
