Funds have been raised by the Brainerd American Legion Riders Post 255 for a memorial bench that will honor the four heroes who lost their lives during the 2012 attack at Benghazi Libya.
According to a press release from the American Legion Riders Post 255, the Dedication of the Memorial to the Heroes of the Benghazi Terror Attack will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN on Sunday, September 16th at 10:30 am.
Post 255 raised funds for a memorial bench that honors the four individuals who gave everything in their duty in service to their country. The Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls was chosen as the location of the bench because it is well maintained and will be available to the public 24 hours a day.
Per the press release,
This memorial will remind people when they see it, of the sacrifices made by these brave countrymen to protect others and keep our country free. It will help their families to know that their sacrifice is recognized and the American people have not forgotten. We know of no other memorial to the heroes of Benghazi on public property in the entire country.
The dedication is scheduled to begin at 10:30 am and will conclude in an hour. The cemetery is located at 15550 State Hwy. 115, Little Falls, MN 56345
