Today is Flag Day. You can join Hubbard Radio’s Bill Satre and the Brainerd Elks club in their annual Flag Day Celebration.

In 1949, President Harry Truman signed legislation designating June 14th of each year as national Flag Day. Though Flag Day is not a federal holiday, the U.S. Government encourages its citizens to display old glory outside of their homes and businesses. Join your Brainerd Elks Lodge #615 for the traditional Flag Day Ceremony at 4:00 PM on today, June 14th on the east lawn of the Historic Crow Wing County Court House at the All Veterans Memorial. Bring your own lawn chair and be sure to distance as needed by current state policy.
