Another Yankees sweep means heads are rolling at Target Field… I just didn’t think they’d down T.C. Bear!
Brown Bear, Brown Bear… what will you see? A new human playing T.C…
After 19 years, the man that has donned that furry bear suit at Twins games has worn the over-sized head for the last time. Greg Wilfahrt has been the mascot since T.C. was introduced in 2000. “The Twins have made a change,” according to team spokesman Dustin Morse, who said the move took effect Tuesday.
The 46 year-old former mascot has made himself a new Twitter handle which might be fairly entertaining down the road if he decides to spill the tea on why the grizzly was grounded.
There’s no word from the Twins as to why the move was made and if they are going to continue with a new human as T.C. or possibly move on and introduce a new mascot.
