Hey Brainerd, Let’s Be Smart When Driving Out In This Snow

With this snow comes some tricky driving conditions. My inspiration for writing this is? Just on my 5 mile trek to work today this is what I saw:

  1. An accident where someone got rear ended. According to AAA, you’re supposed to keep twice the distance as you would in normal driving conditions
  2. A driver passing at way to fast a speed kicking snow up on me, and the drivers in front me, resulting in zero visibility. Let’s slow down people.
  3. Driving without lights on. By the way the vehicle’s color was white! Make sure your lights are on at all times when driving.

Just a few tips to keep us all safe on the roads and highways in the next 24 hours or so. You can check out the video below on some other winter driving tips regarding vehicle maintenance and long commutes.
