Amidst the closing of bars, restaurants and movie theaters statewide, one other business is taking steps to prevent the spread of COVIG-19. According to www.bpu.org, Brainerd Public Utilities will be closing it’s doors to the public. They made the following statement earlier today.
“BPU is committed to assuring the health and safety of our employees and customers. During this time BPU will be closing our office to all in-person traffic to help contain the spread of COVID-19. We will also be restricting the interaction that takes place out in the field with our crews to be limited to emergency situations only. These changes will be in place until further notice.
We are encouraging our customers to use the automated payment system, web-based payments, BPU drop-boxes, or the service center drive-thru.
Questions and Concerns: Please call 218-825-3200“
