Bono and The Edge Busk to Raise Funds for The Homeless

Once in a while a very cool thing happens at Christmas time… The boys in U2 are known for doing an impromptu performance now and again and this time it was for charity. Bono and the Edge joined several fellow musicians at the annual tradition of charity busking outside of the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin.  The band performed a few holiday songs in support of the Simon Community homeless charity.  They performed “O Holy Night”  before joining the rest of the musicians to for a group sing-along on Darlene Love’s 1963 classic “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home.” During the sing-along, Bono told onlookers, “as the buckets go around, fill them with silver, fill them with hope — [it’s] the season of hope.”
