Here’s another new trend, and it’s replacing the traditional engagement ring. Microdermal finger piercing are growing in popularity all over the world. So, does it change the traditional proposal too. In essence, yes it does. Hey, it’s the 21st century, so why not? Life would be pretty boring if everyone followed tradition.
Finger piercings take about 10 minutes to perform and cost between $100-200, plus the cost of the stone(s). Healing can take up to 20 weeks, so you probably don’t want to make a hasty decision. Make sure the bride to be is aware of some of the concerns from physicians; such as damaging the tendons, or the structure of the finger. Not to mention, removing the piercing is a lot more painful and requires a specialist.
