This morning we had it on with the Loon Morning Crew that Ronnie Wood is going to be the subject of a documentary called “Somebody Up There Likes Me”.
The project includes all kinds of Classic Rockers talking about Ronnie and his influence and artistic nuance. Some of those contributors include the likes of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, and Rod Stewart.
Some comments were released from Ron describing the gathering of Eric Clapton up from his well known drug haze for the Rainbow sessions/shows in 1973, and Ron said he thought there had been some tape rolling of the rehearsals for said shows!
So with that I offer what we know to be available and a nice live cut from the Rainbow shows that includes Pete Townshend introducing the band following the song “Why Does Love Have To Be So Sad”. Hope you enjoy the clip below. And, get a rundown of “Eric Clapton’s Rainbow Concert” here.
