Spreading a little Christmas cheer comes in a lot of different ways. A man was walking home on Tuesday (December 22nd) in Cranmoor, Wisconsin, when he spotted a deer stranded in the middle of the frozen reservoir. Gil Lencour then went home to get a dog leash, and got his friend John Moss to help him. He says he walked out onto the ice and started touching the deer in an effort to calm it down, that’s when he got the idea to slide the animal across the ice to help it get back to shore. He did exactly that, noting that he “got to the shore and she took off.” Both men were uninjured in the incident. Check out the video!
