A Basketball Playoff Game Ends With Fans From Both Teams Storming The Court

This video was everywhere over the weekend.  There was a high school basketball playoff game on Friday between two Minnesota teams:  Melrose High and Albany High.  The winner would advance to the state tournament.

Well, the game came down to the last seconds when a player on the Albany team put in a buzzer-beating shot that APPEARED to be the winner.  Their fans were so excited they stormed the floor. But, the officials hadn’t given a decision on the shot yet, and when they did, they WAVED IT OFF . . . meaning it didn’t count. So the score stayed the same and Melrose ended up winning.  And that sent THEIR fans storming onto the court. Careful it’s a live crowd so there could be profanity.
