Not Letting Go Of Summer Just Yet

I was thinking about September this week… since it is…and I thought how different my perspective is than some others when it comes to this time of year.

I don’t really consider it to be fall, and since the official start of fall isn’t until September 21st, I guess I’m okay in saying that. I don’t have kids, so my days are different than some. I see the school busses and I’m cautious in knowing that the kids are busily on the streets, but I know the kind of hum that’s in households full of children is much different than mine.  I think that the advent of football makes me realize that fall is coming, but I guess I’m somewhat in denial.

The bottom line is that I’m not ready to let go of Summer! I wish you well with welcoming Fall, I’m just not going there yet. Instead, I’ll focus on all the summer projects I didn’t get done yet. Getting the dead spots in my lawn to grow and try and find the bottom of my desk at work (and maybe even sneak out a little early…. after all it’s going to be sunny and 70 today)

Happy September!
